Taxis

The Hreyfill taxi app is most popular for accessing taxis. The estimated cost for the 1 mile/4 minute ride from Hotel Natura to Gróska is approximately US$18, while the 40 minute ride from the International airport to downtown is approximately USD 150.

Note that ride-sharing services (Uber, Lyft) do not operate in Iceland.

Buses

• Downtown bus schedules are available via https://straeto.is or on Google maps.
• Download the Klappið app (https://www.klappid.is/en) for buying bus tickets. Note that tickets purchased on the bus require cash and no change is given.
• Bus transport from the International Airport to Downtown: Shuttle busses are the best option and are usually available. Tickets are available online or at airport kiosks.

Walking

The main conference venue ( Gróska Idea House) is approximately a 20-minute walk from the downtown area, and most accommodations are within walking distance. From Reykjavik's downtown area, it is relatively easy to access everything on foot and there are also electric scooters available to rent for short distance transportation .
